Welcome to our GPG Web Key Directory service. This service makes it easier for you and others to send and receive encrypted emails using GPG.
A Web Key Directory (WKD) is a protocol that allows email clients that support GPG (like Thunderbird with Enigmail, or GpgOL for Outlook) to automatically discover the public PGP key for an email address.
Instead of manually searching for a person's public key on a keyserver, your email client can fetch it directly from this service using a secure HTTPS connection. This simplifies the key discovery process and increases the likelihood of using end-to-end encryption.
When you send an encrypted email to a user at our domain, your email client will automatically query a specific URL on this server. If a valid key for that email address is found, it will be downloaded and used to encrypt your message.
To import a GPG key from this server use this command in your terminal
gpg --locate-external-keys ID@yubico.com
This WKD service currently serves 109 public keys.
